The Journey

Like many of you, my Magic the Gathering journey started with a spark. I began by building my very first deck, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, and fostered a love for the game. Although if I'm honest, it was played like a monkey with an AK47: fun, chaotic, and utterly lacking strategy (both in playing and deckbuilding!).

Over my time here in Chester, the community helped me refine my deck, piece by piece. Building decks and getting smacked down taught me the time and effort that goes into a great one, especially when life's busy.

From Ooze Tribal to CEDH

Through countless decks, from the weird (Ooze tribal, anyone?) to the ultra-competitive (CEDH – go fast or go home!), I learned what makes a deck truly sing. A well-crafted and piloted deck can outplay even the most powerful ones.
