Fynn is one of the fastest infect commanders in the format. Every creature with deathtouch that deals combat damage gives that player two poison counters instead of one — and deathtouch creatures are cheap, plentiful, and dangerous.

How it plays

Equip deathtouch creatures and send them in. Each hit puts two poison counters on an opponent — five hits from the same creature is lethal. The deck is built around cheap deathtouch creatures, evasion enablers, and pump spells that make each hit count. Games can end surprisingly fast if opponents aren't prepared for it.

Is this right for my playgroup?

Infect is a polarising strategy at some tables, so worth a heads up to your pod beforehand. That said, Fynn is one of the more fair infect commanders — the deck wins through repeated combat rather than a single explosive turn. A great choice for players who want an aggressive, linear strategy at a budget price point.
