Maralen exiles the top two cards of an opponent's library every time she or another Elf or Faerie you control enters the battlefield. And once each turn, you can cast one of those exiled cards for free — as long as its mana value is no greater than the number of Elves and Faeries you control. The bigger your board, the bigger the spells you can steal and cast.

How it plays

Fill the board with Elves and Faeries to trigger Maralen's exile ability as often as possible, then cast your opponents' own best cards against them for free. The deck combines the mana acceleration of Elf tribal with the evasion and flash of Faeries, creating a board that triggers Maralen constantly while casting increasingly powerful stolen spells. The more Elves and Faeries you have, the higher the mana value of cards you can cast for free.
