Ojer Axonil replaces every source of non-combat damage that would deal less than his power with damage equal to his power instead. Every ping, every drain, every 1-damage trigger suddenly deals 4 or more damage. Small effects become lethal ones.

How it plays

Build up a suite of low-damage triggers — pings, burn cantrips, shock effects — and let Ojer Axonil amplify them all. A one-damage trigger from a creature entering the battlefield now deals 4+. Chain enough of these in a turn and opponents lose obscene amounts of life from effects that would normally be irrelevant. The deck is built to maximise the trigger count and pump Ojer Axonil's power as high as possible.
